San Antonio is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around San Antonio is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We special ordered a peanut butter cake with peanut butter icing and our birthday girl loved it so much after everyone got a piece, she ran & hid the rest of the cake in the spare freezer so no one would find it. It really was unexpectedly moist and delicious. Thank you sooo much!!!

A gem tucked away in the corner of a small shopping center, I was genuinely impressed by everything here and the friendly service was nice as well. The bakery has quite a selection and everything looks delicious, I was told everything was baked in-house. Great sandwich selection, the 'Andres dream Sandwich' is something I'll definitely be coming back for; quality meat, fresh bread, and an overall well made sandwich! Options for potato salads, chips, or fruit for your side, I chose fruit and it was actually fresh and sweet. The caramel macchiato was well made, but out of preference I had some extra syrup added.

Incredibly average. Ordered an Italian sub with potato salad for my side. Garden salad. The sub itself was good for what it is. Not a very large sandwich, but for the price it was sufficient. The potato salad was very bland. Even with adding salt it just didnβt do anything for me. I had high hopes for the salad as the ranch dressing looked very flavorful. But looks can be deceiving. Again, bland. The actually salad was probably the best thing I ate today. Lots of fresh veggies including different types of tomatoes, bell pepper and avocado. Overall one and done for me.

I was impressed by the warm atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious. The pastries were outstanding. My family loved the sweet treats I brought home. The dining experience was peaceful. I look forward to returning. They also feature Boar's Head brand meats, a favorite of mine, just like back home in New York City. This place is a gem, offering excellent value for the price. I highly recommend it.

Got a black forest birthday cake from here for my birthday. The service was good and it was easy enough to make the order and pick it up. Unfortunately the black forest cake was not very good. It was decent enough as a regular chocolate cake, however, as a black forest cake, it did not have very much cherry filling at all. I was surprised by how little cherry filling it had. I decided to cut half the cake open to see exactly how much was in it. Cherries were only in the top layer and very sparsely. I did my best to take pictures to show just how little cherry filling there was. The cake was well done otherwise.
